Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Anthony Of Flora recently celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary.

The Anthonys, who are formerly from Cisne, were married July 24, 1920.

W. L.  "Buck" Anthony worked 24 years for Pure Oil Co. at Cisne. Retiring in 1962 he
and Mrs. Anthony moved to Flora.

The couple's daughter...  arrived last week to help them celebrate with other family members.

A dinner was held at the Holiday in Olney last Friday.

Attending in addition to Gerry were the couple's granddaughters... and families.

Mrs. Anthony is the former Mattie Roland. Married at Caney, Oklahoma, they came to Illinois in 1939.  The Anthonys other daughter... is deceased. They have six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
