A well-known rural Fairfield couple Mr. and Mrs. D. E. Brame, will observe their 57th wedding anniversary on Friday, Jan. 5, 1996.   The Brames were united in marriage in Longview, Tex., on Jan. 5, 1939. They moved to Wayne County in 1940 and have made their home here since then.

Deward retired from the Texaco Oil Company in 1976. Gladys is a retired cook.  She cooked at local restaurants and school cafeterias.

They have two sons,   They also have three grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

No formal celebration is planned but they would appreciate cards from friends and family.
