Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Davis, of Earlville, will be celebrating their golden wedding anniversary with an open house on Sunday, Aug. 22 from 2 to 4 p.m. intheir home, ... Earlville. The former Chloe Ann Donoho and Cecil Davis were married on Aug. 10, 1932, by the Rev. Austin Donoho, uncle of the bride, in the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Donoho, of Jefferson County. Cecil is the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. James Davis formerly of Jefferson County, before moving to Flora.
Friends and relatives are welcome to tbe open house, which will be hosted by the couple's children.
Mrs. Ron (Treva) Hargitt, of Amboy; Ed Davis and Bob Davis. of Kirkland; and Mrs. Mike (Nancy) Roberson. of Earlville.
The couple also has ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
The couple requests the omission of gifts.
