My mom  died 26 April 2006 Belen, New Mexico on my 67th birthday.

Ella  Mae (MARSH) HIMES  born 3 April 1922  in the old two-story red brick homestead farmhouse her great-grandfather built around Civil War time east of  Maroa, Macon Co, Illinois died 26 April 2006 Belen, New Mexico.

Her father Charles Herbert MARSH  was  born in that same farmhouse in 1887. I was the oldest grandchild and the last baby born in the old farmhouse.

Ella’s mother was a  daughter  of  Janie Mae (STOGSDILL) MARSH who was b. 11 Nov 1900 Orchardville, Wayne Co, Illinois.  Her  ancestry with surnames, Christian names, dates and places are on my webpage.
