Census states birth in Oct 1849 age 50 in 1900.
Dates in Fitch book are apparently from Wayne County
Cemetery
inscriptions.
The William Fitch book does not list Elenora, find
copy of 1870 census.
Also look at 1860 census.
Elenora could be Henry's sister.

BURIAL: Buried in Brown Cemetery Row 36 third from
last in row. Phebe
E. Fitch name as listed on tombstone.
1900 census lists birth as Nov 1848. She may have
shaved a few years off
her age in later years.
In 1900 census Phoebe lists her father as born in
OH and her mother was
born in IN
Per 1910 census Father was born in Oh and mother
was born in Indiana.
The 1900 census taker has the total # of children
wrong because Olive
Grace has already left home. Per 1910 census 11
of 12 children were still
living. No children born after 1900.
Birth in 1900 census is listed as Nov 1848. This
is four years different from
birth date listed in Fitch Family book. Date as
listed on tombstone is Nov.
6, 1852.
