7) Samuel GARRISON, the 7th child and son of James and Esther Ann (Hester) (ROBERTS) Garrison, was born 1788 in Wilkes Co., NC. He moved with his parents to SC and later to Warren Co., KY.
Samuel married Martha CONLEY (CONLEE), dau of William Conley (Conlee) in Warren Co., KY. They were married on 28 Sep 1815, by Jacob Locke.
In 1819, Samuel moved his family to White Co., IL (later became a part of Hamilton Co., Then Samuel and Martha Garrison moved 1836 to become the beginning settlers of Hickory Hills Township, Wayne Co., IL
