It is unclear where Wilson BUTLER came from, the census records show he was born 1821 in New York.  Though  he does not show up in any records until his marriage in 1871 and, the 1880 Federal Wayne Co., IL census record.  Wilson was suppose to have been a doctor with two offices, one in Garrison, Hamilton Co.,IL  and the other in Mayberry, Wayne Co.,IL.

Wilson BUTLER was ,born 1821 New York and died after 1895 in IL.  He  married  two times and his first wife's name is not known.  His 2nd wife was widow Elizabeth (THOMASON) HALEY daughter of Joseph Fleming and Cassandra (COX) THOMASON  of Wayne Co.,IL.

Elizabeth was married to Barney HALEY  who died prior to 1870 and their children was listed as  Barney's children on the 1870  Federal Wayne Co census.

1)  DOCK  BUTLER b  Jul 18, 1874      Fairfield, Wayne Co., IL  d  Apr 23, 1956      Knob, Arkansas      Note:  he died while visiting with his son.  #1 m  May 16, 1895            Essex, Stoddard Co., MO  spouce  Malinda Jane TROTTER dau of Ebenezer TROTTER and  granddau of Thomas Archibald TROTTER.  b   Oct. 8, 1876, in       Essex, Stoddard Co., MO  d   Feb.19, 1940       Bessville, Bollinger Co.,MO.  Note::  1)  Malinda was blind from cataracts at the time of her death.  2)  Dock and Malinda Jane had 7 children born and raised in the Bessville, Bollinger Co.,MO area.  #2 m  during 1941            Dexter, Stoddard Co., MO to  spouce   Lucy CRENSHAW RAZOR

2)    Hellen M. BUTLER b  .May 18, 1878,       Fairfield, Wayne Co., IL.  Her death date is not known.  m   Aug 24, 1894       Carmi, White Co., IL  spouce  Ezekiel H. HUNSINGER Note:  Hellen had gone against her fathers wishes and married Ezekiel, as they went to Carmi and the marriage bond shows that she lied about her age (she was only 16 years old).   Hellen is said to have been pregnant and died in childbirth but, no record has ever been foun
