I have but little knowledge fo the Daisy family. I was only eighteen at the time of my mother's death and I had given family history no serious thought. I can remember being at the old Daisy homestead when I was a little child which must have been after Grandfather's death because Uncle John Allgood lived back in the field from there. I can even remember how the trees and the old lilac bushes looked on the north side of the house but cannot remember who lived there or who I saw at that time.

My father often spoke of Grandfather Daisy and his history about Grandfather Daisy's death was this. He walked to Fairfield to secure some laudanum. Then he went to Uncle George Daisy and requested that he, Uncle George, come out to Grandfathers the next day. Uncle George replied that he would be unable to get out tomorrow and Grandfather said “tomorrow or never”. After tomorrow he said would be too late. Grandfather actually took the laudinum of his own accord and with his own planning.

Tom Bull and I have been over the old Bull Cemetary which is quite large and found many stones of old settlers, including Womacks, but nothing whatever to show where any of the Daisy graves are. While working in Southern Ohio five years ago I noticed the name Daisy in the telephone book, but, at that time, I did not know that we had relatives in that state or I would have contacted some of them.

I give great praise and credit to Lulu Forth Campbell for the time and patience that she has.
