Mrs. Lulu I. Geoffroy

Mrs. Lulu I. Geoffroy, 91, 4209 Emland Drive, died Friday [23 March] at a Topeka hospital after an extended illness.

She was born Oct. 25, 1887, at Fairfield, Wayne County, Illinois.

Mrs. Geoffroy attended Jenning's [sic] Seminary, Aurora, Ill. She was a long-time resident of Topeka.

She was a member of the Lowman United Methodist Church and Chapter AJ of P.E.O.

She was married to Frank Geoffroy in 1906 at Beatrice, Neb. He died Oct. 14, 1946. A son, Robert G. Geoffroy, Vicksburg, Miss., died in March 1977.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Marge Parker, of the home; two sons, Jack M. Geoffroy, Seattle, Wash., and Glenn G. Geoffroy, San Luis Obispo, Calif.; five grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday [27 March] at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home, Topeka. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery, Topeka. Memorial contributions may be made to Mobile Meals of Topeka Inc., in care of Mrs. Bonnie Purnell, 820 Frazier, Topeka, 66606.
