Not to be confused with other John McClure Creightons.  There were several of them.
ob536 indexed as Hon. John M. was a John McClure.  He was not a judge, his  father was.  See ob536
ob71 indexed as John M., Sr  was a John McClure.  The Sr is meaningless.  He did not have a Jr.
This is another John McClure (I have more).

On Saturday evening last at half past eight o'clock, Mr. John M. Creighton died at his residence five miles north-east of Fairfield, of lung fever and consumption.  Mr. Creighton was a most excellent man and his death will be a great loss not only to his family but to the community.
