Charles C. Lambrich Dies at Home in Edwardsville

Wayne County native Charles Clifton Lambrich, 65, died Friday, Sept. 10, 1993, at 10:25 a.m. at his home in Edwardsville.

His death followed a lengthy illness.

RITES CONDUCTED
Memorial services were held Sunday afternoon, Sept. 12, at the Elias Smith Funeral Home in Alton with Rev. John Balnum officiating. Memorials may be made to the Southern Pacific Hospice.

He was born May 30, 1928, at Cisne to Ralph Dewey and Mary Irene Simmons Lambrich. He was married Oct. 25, 1946, in Wayne county to Gladys Evelyn Shannon, who survivies. They lived in Alton a number of years before moving to Edwardsville.

Lambrich was a self-employed promoter of antique shows for 30 years before retiring in 1990.

He also taught school for 16 years and worked three years at McDonnell-Douglas.

THE SURVIVORS
Other servivors include his mother; two daughters, Judy Sutton of Manassas, Va., and Kay Wagner of Cincinnati, Ohio; a son, Scott Lambrich of eff; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his father and an infant sister.
