Funeral services for Mrs. Frank Stopher, 72, of Cisne, who died at the Fairfield Memorial Hospital, July 1, were held at the Cisne Christian Church Thursday afternoon. Burial was in the Cisne Cemetery.

Mrs. Aurora Jane Stopher, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Conrad Kern, was born Sept. 2, 1879.

She united with the Vincennes Christian Church when a young girl, later moving her membership to the Cisne Christian Church. She was married to Frank Stopher Oct. 25, 1902. Five children were born. One daughter died in infancy.

Mrs. Stopher is survived by her husband, four children, Loy Stopher of Cisne, Mrs. Margaret Gantz of Cisne, Mrs. Ward Alamson, of Beaumont, Texas, and Mrs. Frank McClung of Dayton, Ohio; six grandchildren, and two sisters, Mrs. O. E. Brock of Fairfield, and Mrs. D. S. Rainey of Alma.
