DIED:  Charles Sidney Berry, born Feby. 16, 1878, in Fairfield, Ill. Died March 21, 1898. Age 20 years, 1 month  and 5 days.  He joined the Methodist  church near six months ago, and was noted for his piety and church work. He was held in highh esteem by all who knew him, was a close student, a genial playmate, an obedient and loving son, an affectionate brother, and a true friend.

Funeral services were held at  the Methodist church,  Bro. Hanson,  his pastor conducting the same. The  pulpit was draped  in mourning  as also the chairs upon which the coffin rested. The  work of  the ladies. Gaither Hall, Claud Potter,  Lindsey Bray, Robert Cooper, Ellie Witherspoon  and Hugh Rape were pall-bearers. His remains were laid to rest  in Little Bethel cemetery Tuesday evening. The sorrowing ones have our deepest sympathy.
