JOSEPH SMITH BERRY
JOSEPH SMITH BERRY, one of
the oldest residents of the family died at his home two miles east of town
Thursday evening Feb. 17th (1881) of heart disease. Mr Berry was taken
ill about two years ago and has been gradually sinking ever
since. He was a most excellent man and highly respected by a large
circle of friends.

Berry died suddenly last Thursday of heart disease. He had been sitting
on the side of the bed and all at once he laid his head in his hands, and
when raised up was found to be dead. He was an old and respected
citizen and leaves a family and large circle of friends.
