Obituary - Died at his residence three miles East of Fairfield, on Wednesday, February 1, Asa HAYNES in the seventy-fifth year of his age. Mr. HAYNES was b. September 29, 1796 and emigrated to this state in 1818.  He settled in Wayne Co. in 1826 and has since resided here until his decease.  Mr. HAYNES character was marked by those sterling (qualities?) which win the respect and esteem of all acquaintances.  Thus, one by one, the old pioneers of our county are leaving us for other and better lands.
