OBITUARY

ANNA MANN

was born in Wayne county, Ill., Sept. 14. 1887; passed away Friday, Nov. 10, 1911, aged 24years, 1 month, and 26 days.

She had been in failing health for several months being bed fast but about four weeks. She leaves a father, mother, three sisters, two brothers, and a host of loving friends and relatives to mourn.  Three brothers and one sister had crossed over before her.

Anna confessed faith in Christ at Ebenezer church in a meeting held by Revs. Aten and Flannery in 1905 and was found to be a willing worker in church and Sunday school. She was one of Wayne county’s very successful teachers, having taught for the past four years.  Her services were continualiy in demand; she won the affection of all her pupils and their advaneement seemed to be her highest ambition. We will miss her from our circles in the community but our loss is her gain.  We wonder at her seemingly death and yet, "In the midst of life we are in death,” and our Heavenly Father makes no mistakes but "doeth all things well.”

Funeral services were conducted at the Union C. P. church by Revs. J. W. Borah and O. O. Maxfield Sunday.  Interment in the old church yard.
