Otho Barnard, 75,
of Chenoa, Dies;
Rites Are Held There

Otho Barnard, 75, of Chenoa, died at 7:15p.m. Thursday, June 20, 1991, at St. Joseph Medical Center in Bloomington.

A retired farmer, Mr. Barnard was a native of Wayne County and a brother of Normie Barnard of Wayne City.

Rites Conducted

Funeral services were conducted from the Chenoa Baptist Church Monday morning (today), with Rev. Grant Sension officiating. Interment was in Chenoa cemetery. The Duffy Pils Funeral Home was in charge.

Mr. Barnard had farmed in the Chenoa area most of his adult life.

He was born in Wayne County Dec. 25, 1915, the son of Edgar and Nellie Dawson Barnard.

On Nov. 21, 1936, 1936, he was married to Eva Cook.

Mr. Barnard was a member of the Baptist Church at Chenoa.

The Survivors

Surviving are his wife; one son, Ted; two daughters, Mrs. JoAnn Bockman; and Jeanne Klitzing; one brother, Normie Barnard of Wayne City; eight grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.
