Estella Weaver,
Wayne City Woman, Dies

Mrs. Estella May Weaver, 85, a Wayne City woman, died at 4:30 a.m. Sunday in the Oakview Manor nursing home in McLeansboro.

She was the wife of Charles Weaver,  a retired farmer.

Services Tuesday

Services will be conducted at 2 P.m. Tuesday at Richardson's Funeral Home in Wayne City, with Rev. Tom Richards officiating.  Burial will be in the Bailey Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 6:30 p.m. Monday (tonight).

Mrs. Weaver was born in Wayne County Oct. 29, 1892, the daughter of O.W. and Mary (Graham) Owen.  She was married to Charles Weaver in 1913.

She was a housewife and a member of the Mt. Olive United Methodist Church.

The Survivors

 
Surviving are her husband, Charles; one daughter, Mrs. Glen (Leah) Jackson, of Wayne City; and one granddaughter, Miss Peggy Jackson, in California.

Preceding her in death was a son, Alman Weaver, in 1952.
