Leon Ellsworth Wilson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jennings Holman, was born Nov. 30, 1919, in Wayne County, Illinois.

At the age of three he was adopted into the family of Mr. and Mrs. E.R. Wilson of Mt. Erie. At the age of 21 on Dec. 21, 1940, he was baptized and became a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.

Leon Willson was married to Lois Lorene Walker on June 1 of the following year. To their happy union was born two children, a son, Linden Lee, and a daughter, Linda Lou. Much of Leon’s life was spent on the farm, but for the past two years he had been working in the oil fields. He is survived by his wife, Lois; and two children, Linden Lee and Linda Lou; his father, Jennings Holman; his mother Fern Holman; his foster father, Mr. E.R. Willson, of Pasedena, Calif.; three sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Dennis of Chicago, Miss Caroline Holman of Cisne, and Mrs. Frank Boyer of Lincoln, Nebr., and two brothers, Virgil and Cecil Willson of Indianapolis, Ind.

Leon Ellsworth Willson passed away Nov. 4, 1946. The body will be interned at the Brown cemetery.
