OBITUARY

Ida Billington, daughter of Grace and Cecil Patterson, was born at Noble February 11, 1924, and departed this life near Cisne October 8, 1949 at the age of 25 years, seven months and 27 days.

Early in life she confessed her faith in Christ and was baptised, placing her membership with the Christian church at Noble, which she retained at the time of her death.

On June 27, 1947, she was united in marriage to Harry Billington and to this union one son, Charles Harry, was born.

She was preceded in death by her father and one sister, leaving to mourn her departure, her devoted husband and baby son of Cisne; her father and mother-in-law, Mr. And Mrs. C.H. Billington, at whose home she was tenderly cared for during her illness; her mother, Mrs. Grace Patterson, of Noble; six sisters, Mrs. Betty Gillespey of Flora, Mrs. Loretta Gibson of Olney, Ruby, Cleo, Easie, and Vera; three brothers, Fletcher, Paul, and John, all at home, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were conducted from the Methodist church in Cisne Monday, October 10, at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Edward Watson officiating, with final service and interment in Cisne cemetery.
