Ralph C. Simpson, 80, a resident of Cisne many years, was found dead at 12:15 p.m. Thursday at his home in Cisne.

Mr. Simpson, who lived alone, was found by his brother-in-law. Merle Malone. Coroner Bob Johnson conducted an inquiry into his death and it is believed he suffered a heart attack.

Rites Conducted

Services were conducted at 1:30 Sunday afternoon at the Hosselton Funeral Home in Cisne, with Bro. John Bainum officiating. Burial was in the Cisne Cemetery.

Mr. Simpson was born June 27, 1897, in Wayne County, the son of Samuel and Sidney (Spriggs) Simpson.

He was married to Blanche Powless Aug. 21, 1918, in Cisne. She preceded him in death  Apr. 10, 1972.

Mr. Simpson was a general laborer.

The Survivors

Surviving re one son, Lales, of Fairfield; one daughter Mrs. David (Catherine) Truax, of Ravenna, O.; three grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Mike (Marie) German, of Michigan; and Mrs. Merle (Julia) Malone, of Cisne.

Preceding him in death were one daughter, Dorothy Glenn; one brother, Wayne; one sister, Blanche; and his parents.
