Lucille Faye, only child of Evan and Flo Weaver Burton, was born February 19, 1924; died December 2nd, 1925, at the age of one year, 9 months and 13 days.

About two weeks ago little Faye was stricken with infantile paralysis. All that medical skill and loving care could do was done but to no avail.  She leaves to mourn her untimely departure her broken hearted parents, two grandmothers, two grandfathers, one aunt and eight uncles.

Short funeral services were conducted by Elder W.D. Crippin at the home Thursday afternoon. Interment was in the Bailey Cemetery

As the sweet flower that scents the morn,
But withers in the rising day, Thus lovely was this infants dawn
Thus swiftly fled her life away.
