MRS. MYRTLE FITCH
DIES AT HOSPITAL

Lifetime Northern Wayne County Resident
Had Been Invalid For Some Time

Mrs. Myrtle Mae Fitch, 79, a well-known Elm River township resident, died about 8:15 Wednesday night at Memorial hospital where she had been a patient for three weeks.

Mrs. Fitch, widow of the late Delbert Fitch, had been in failing health and an invalid the past few years.

 Rites to be Friday

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday from the Brown church, with Elder W. D. Crippin officiating.  Interment will be in the church cemetery.  The body will be at the Crippin Funeral Home until the funeral hour.

Myrtle, daughter of William and Flora Stewart, was born in Wayne county September 14th, 1878.  She grew up in the vicinity of her birth and lived her entire life in this county.

She was a member of the Elm River C. P. church.

On February 27th, 1929, she was married to Delbert Fitch, with no children being born to this union.

Her husband passed away June 28th, 1954.

Surviving are a nephew, Lyle King, and a niece, Mrs. Iva M. Walker, both of the ... vicinity.
