Sarah J. BRANSON (ATTEBERRY) --- Sarah J. BRANSON was born in Kentucky, February 11,1827, moved to Illinois  with her parents when a young girl and came to Florida  about 17 years ago, where she resided 'til her death  which occurred Sunday, Aug. 20, 1922, at the ripe old  age of 95 years, 6 months and 9 days.

No more earnest Christian, faithful companion or devoted  mother ever lived.

She was so patient in affliction and believed that all  things would work for good to those who trust in God. Certainly in this aged mother was manifest the Christ  life if ever mortal man can do so.  She was a member of  the Primitive Baptist Church.

She is survived by five sons and one daughter; Franklin P.,  Wm. J., G.A., and Martha A. BRANSON who reside in Orlando;  C. N. and H. L. BRANSON who reside in Illinois.  Syria J. BRANSON, her husband, and two daughters and one son, Mary J. GARROD, Josephine BOZARTH and Joseph H. BRANSON have passed on before her.

Funeral services were held at the Hand Funeral Parlor Monday, Aug. 21, at 2 p.m.  Burial at  the cemetery south of town, near Drennen Station.
