Mrs. Carol Ann Fletcher Dies At Mayfield Home

Mrs. Carol Ann Fletcher, 42, of Mayfield, Ky., died at her home in that city at 2:10 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 3, 1995.

She was a former resident of the Mt. Vernon and Belle Rive area. Mrs. Fletcher was a sister of David Hutchcraft, of Wayne City.

Mrs. Fletcher was employed in the Security Dept. of Lockheed Martin Marietta in Paducah, Ky.

Funeral rites will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday from the Hughey Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon, with Rev. Merle Fullerton and Rev. Ronnie Stinson officiating. Burial will be in Farnsworth Cemetery near Keenes. Visitation at Hughey Funeral Home will be from 5 to 8 Monday evening (tonight).

She was born at Mt. Vernon Nov. 17, 1953, the daughter of Vern L. and Geraldine I. Ewald Hutchcraft.

On May 16, 1974, she was married to David E. Fletcher, at Long Prairie Baptist Church in Wayne County.

She was a member of the Taace Creek Baptist Church near Mayfield, Ky. Also she was a member of Women In Construction and was Secretary-Treasurer of the Paducah, Ky., Chapter.

Mr. Fletcher had an Associate of Art degree from Rend Lake College in Secretary Services.

Surviving are her husband; her mother. Geraldine Hutchcraft, of Belle Rive; a brother, David Hutchcraft, of Wayne City; four sisters, Mrs. Charles (Fern) Thierry, of Dahlgren; Mrs. Glen (Rose) Frazier, of Maunie; Mrs. David (Doris) Schlag, of Belle Rive; and Mrs. Rick (Donna) Bartlett, of Mt. Olive; and a number of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were her father, grandparents and a nephew.
