Dorothy Bullock

Dorothy Bullock, 78, of Wayne City, passed away at 12 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2008, at Countryside Manor in Mt. Vernon.

Mrs. Bullock was an active and devoted member of The Church of the Harvest in Wayne City.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at York Funeral Home in Wayne City.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday in The Church of the Harvest (new building). Pastor Bill Clark will officiate. Burial will be in Enfield Cemetery in Enfield.

Survivors include a daughter, Linda Williams and husband Paul of Mt. Vernon; a son, Donald Lowery and wife Sandy of Oaktown, Ind.; stepdaughters, Helen Matthews and husband Stanley, Delores Hedden, Evelyn Harrell, Debbie Greene, Winnie Braddock and husband Leo, all of Wayne City, Dereth Maxey of Mt. Vernon and Mimi Meyer and husband Steve of Prosperity, S.C.; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; 19 stepgrandchildren; 26 stepgreat-grandchildren; five stepgreat-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Leonard Russell and Raymond Russell and wife Martha, all of Evansville, Ind.; one sister, Virginia Bullock and husband Ralph of Wayne City; and several nieces and nephews and many special friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands, Ray Allen and
Everett Bullock; four brothers, Elbert, Charles, Lewis and Willard Russell;
and two sisters, Opal Bruner and Irene Smart.

Memorials will be accepted for Mrs. Bullock's church, The Church of the
Harvest.
