MOTHER OF OLEN WILSON
IDA WILSON, 90, DIES

Mrs. Ida WILSON, 90, a long-time Fairfield resident, the mother of Olen WILSON, of Fairfield, died at 4:10 p.m. Thursday, Mar. 22, 1984, at a Covina, Calif., hospital.

She went to Covina last August to be with her daughter, Mrs. Doris CONWAY.  Mrs. WILSON was hospitalized twice this year.  Death was due to the infirmities of age and double pneumonia, a family member said.

Services Held

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday (today) at the Johnson Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Dampeer officiating.  Interment was in Maple HillCemetery.

Mrs. WILSON was born in Wayne county Feb. 25, 1894, the daughter of Lewis and Rose (McDOWELL) WOLFE.

She married Simon WILSON in Edwards county in 1911.  Mr. WILSON was a farmer, who died Feb. 7, 1955.

Mrs. WILSON was a housewife during her marriage.

She was a member of the Presbyterian faith.  At one time, she belonged to the Fairfield Senior Citizens Band.

The Survivors

Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Robert (Doris) CONWAY, of Covina, Calif.; three sons, Olen WILSON of Fairfield; Estil WILSON, of Grayville; and Roscoe WILSON, of Flora; a sister, Mrs. Ruby HEDRICK, of Albion; 13 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death are her husband, and two sons, Lowell and Eldon.
