Funeral Services for Mrs.  Wanda L. Denney, 69, of Canton, Ohio were conducted Monday from the Heitger Funeral Home in that city, with burial in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens in Canton.

She was a native of Fairfield.

Mrs. Denney died at 2:57 p.m. Thursday, June 20, 1996 at Timken Mercy Medical Center in Canton following an extended illness.

She worked at Akron General Hospital as a nurses aide and also had worked for Trump Plastic Company. Mrs. Denney had lived in the Canton area for 33 years, moving there from Fairfield.

She was born in Fairfield Sept. 14, 1926, the daughter of James O. and Wreatha Kilgore Fritts.

Surviving are a son, David Denney, of North Canton, Ohio; a sister, Mrs. Vincent (Kari) Venturi, of Streator, Ill.; two nieces, Elaine Owen and Judith Blaski, both of Fairfield; and a cousin, Renebelle McCormick, of Fairfield.

Her parents and one sister preceded her
in death.
