A Johnsonville resident, Mrs. Bernice Dunlap, 87, died at 7:15 a.m. Tuesday (today), Nov. 13, 1984, at Way-Fair Restorium.

Mrs. Dunlap, who was being treated for a heart condition, was a resident of the nursing home for two weeks, the family said . She was the wife of Angus Dunlap.

Funeral services are pending at Hosselton Funeral Home at Cisne.

Mrs. Dunlap was born in Wayne County April 27, 1897, the daughter of James and Laurie Alice (Richardson) Hawkins.

Mrs. Dunlap married Angus Dunlap in 1916. The Dunlaps engaged in farming in various areas. Mrs. Dunlap was a housewife and homemaker.

She was a member of Mt. Pleasant General Baptist Church near Orchardville.

Survivors include her husband, Angus Dunlap, of Johnsonville; one son, Estell Dunlap, of Lyndon; a brother, Archie Hawkins, of Flora; and two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers.
