Mrs. Ada Gregory, 84, of Monticello, a former Wayne county resident, the widow of Aaron Gregory, died at 1:45 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 19, 1983, at Kirby Hospital in Monticello.

Mrs. Gregory has been gone a long time from the Wayne county area.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the Johnson Funeral Home with burial in Bovee Cemetery north of Boyleston.

Visitation will be held from 6-9 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Gregory was born in Fairfield Feb. 3, 1899, the daughter of Alex and Mary (Eddings) Cline.

She was married to Aaron Gregory, a farmer, who preceded her in death Sept. 30, 1971.

Mrs. Gregory is survived by one son, Clarence Gregory, of Monticello; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
