Brother Of Fairfield Residents Found Dead

Jim McKasson, 62, a brother of Mrs. Pauline Hutton and Robert McKasson, of Fairfield, was found dead at his home in Washington Park, Ill., near East St. Louis Friday.

He had apparently taken his own life Thursday, with a pistol shot to the head, relatives told the Press.

Mr. McKasson had been in poor health the past year. He spent last winter in Fairfield with his sister, Mrs. Hutton returning to Washington Park some months.

He was a watchman at the East St. Louis Stockyards.

Funeral services will be at noon Tuesday from the Kasley Funeral Home in Fairview Heights.

Mr. McKasson would have been 63 in September.

Surviving are his two brothers, Robert McKasson, of Fairfield; and Harry McKasson of New York State; and a sister, Mrs. Pauline Hutton, of Fairfield. ===== ===== ob2277 Monday, July 22, 1985 Former Cisne Woman's Husband Dies; Rites Set

George McClellan, 65, of Rockaway Beach, Mo., formerly of Clay City, died at 3:15 a.m. Saturday at the John McClellan V.A. Hospital in Little Rock, Ark.

Mr. McClellan was the husband of the former Wilma Barrett, of Cisne. Mrs. McClellan is the sister of Kenny and Leon Barrett, of the Cisne area, and Earline Henry, of Cisne.

Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the H@sselton-Bookout- Engelmeier Funeral Home in Clay City. Burial will be in the Cisne cemetery with full military rites.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. Monday (today).

Mr. McClellan was born in Glouster Ohio, Feb. 15, 1920 the son of Frank and Nora (Nott) McClellan.

He was married to Wilma Barrett, of Cisne, Aug. 5, 1973, in Clay City. She survives.

Mr. McClellan was a World War Il veteran. He belonged to the Clay City American Legion.

Surviving are his widow; one son, Jackie McClellan, and one daughter Flame; one brother, William McClellan of Glouster, Ohio; and three sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Wells, of Clay City; Mrs. Olive Willis, of Canton, Ohio; and Mrs. Dorothy Trace, of Glouster, Ohio.
