Dies In Arkansas

Sam P Bradford, 85 of Mill Shoals, died of a heart ãttak Sunday, December 27, at the home of
a daughter, Mrs. Lovena Day,  of Marmaduke,  Ark.  where he had been visiting.

Born in Franklin County,  Indiana, January 25,. 1857, he was the son of Bradford and Ruth Russell  Bradford.

He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Day of Marmaduke, Ark.; Mrs. Ed Garrett, of  Mills Shoals township, of which he had been making his home , and Mrs. Lizzie Gwaltney, of Holland Mich.; a step-daughter, Mrs. Leveda McRenolds, of St. Louis; three sons, Perry, of Chicago; Russell, of Flint, Michingan, and Harvey of Burnt Prairie, and three sisters, Mrs. Mollie Carter, of Hope Ark.;  Mrs. Bertha Stallings, of Golden Gate, and Mrs. May Johnson, of near Centerville.

The body was returned to the Garrett home in Mill Shoals township.  Funeral arrangements have not been completed.  Burial will be in the Burnt Prairie Cemetery, in charge of the  Walton and Stein Funeral Home.
