LIFE SKETCH OF
MRS. HARRY WITHROW

Alice Rebecca Porter, daughter of James and Martha Porter, was born in Wayne county, June 30, 196, and passed away at her home south of Wayne City, Sunday, April 21, 1946, at four o’clock p.m. at the age of 50 years, nine months and 22 days.

She was united in marriage to Henry Withrow, October 14, 1916.  To this union five children were born.  Two daughters, one granddaughter, her father and mother preceded her in death.

She is survived by her faithful companion; one daughter, Florence Coffelt of Cody, Wyo.; two sons, Cecil of Wayne City, and Henry of Indianapolis, Ind.; one brother, Oscar Porter of Fairfield; one sister Mary Cordelia Miller of Auburn, Ill.; three grandchildren, and many other relatives and friends who will mourn her passing.

She professed faith in Christ at an early age and united with the General Baptist church at Bailey and was a faithful Christian until death.

A precious one from us is gone,
A voice we loved is stilled,
A place is vacant in our home
That never can be filled.

CARD OF THANKS
We wish to express our thanks and appreciation to all who extended help and sympathy during our recent sorrow. For the beautiful floral offerings and many other kindnesses we are deeply grateful.
