Bt. Prairie Woman's Brother Dies; Retired Truck Driver

John Foley, 73, of Jacksonville and formerly of Enfield, died Saturday morning, July 27, 1996 at Morgan View Terrace in Jacksonville.

He was the brother of Lorene Musgrave of Burnt Prairie.

Mr. Foley was a truck driver. Following cremation, military rites were accorded at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Camp Butler National Cemetery. The Cody & Son Funeral Home in Jacksonville was in charge of the arrangements.

He was born March 29, 1923, at Enfield, the son of Felix and Agnes Savage Foley.

Mr. Foley was a World War II veteran, serving in the U.S. Army in the Asiatic-Pacific theatre.

Surviving are a son, John G. Foley, of Springfield, one granddaughter; one great-granddaughter; and three sisters, Lorene Musgrave, of Burnt Prairie; Velma Hood, of Carmi; and Florence Cremeens, of Jacksonville.

Three brothers preceded him in death.
