A former Wayne countian, Mrs. Blanche Collins, 80, of Stow, Ohio, died at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 11, 1984, at Akron City Hospital, Akron, Ohio.

Mrs. Collins was the sister of Mrs Elizabeth Schell, of Cisne, and Russell Hilliard, of Geff.

Funeral services will be held Friday at Redmon Funeral Home at Stow, with burial in that area. Visitation will be conducted after 6 p.m. Thursday (tonight) at the funeral home.

Mrs. Collins was born in Wayne county Feb. 17, 1904, the daughter of Ed and Daisy (Sweeney) Hilliard. She was married to Denver Collins in Wayne county Feb. 3, 1923.

Mrs. Collins was a housewife and homemaker.

Survivors include her husband, Denver Collins, of Stow, Ohio; threedaughters Mrs. James (Daisy) Thompson, Mrs Dick (Arvella) Patterson, and Mrs John (Blanche Louise) Gretsinger, all of Stow, Ohio; a son, Denver Collins, Jr., of Streetsboro, Ohio; one sister, Mrs Cecil (Elizabeth) Schell, of Cisne; two brothers, Russell Hilliard, of Geff; Kelley Hilliard, of Olney, and 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one son a daughter and two brothers.
