Edward Locum, 81, Of Rinard, Dies; Was Sheet Metal Worker

Edward Locum, 81, of Rinard, died at his home at 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 1. He was a retired sheet metal worker.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday from the Frank & Bright Funeral Home in Flora, with Bro. Kip Knavel officiating. Interment will be in Willow Branch Cemetery at Rinard. Visitation at the Frank & Bright Funeral Home in Flora will be 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, with Masonic rites at 8 p.m.

He was born at Nokomis Aug. 6, 1914, the son of Joseph and Eva Gricisu Locum. On Oct. 16, 1965, in Las Vegas, Nev., he was married to Jeanne King.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and two sisters.

Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.

Surviving are his wife; three sons, Thomas Locum, of Arkansas; Timothy Locum of Madison, Wis.; and James Locum of St. Charles, Mo.; a brother, Joseph Locum, of Oak Lawn; five grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
