Sister Of Wayne City Man Dies At Mt. Vernon Hospital

Mrs. Neva Milt Bradford, 90, of Rome Meadows in Dix and formerly of Mt. Vernon, died at 1:40 a.m. Monday, July 4, 1994, at Good Samaritan Regional Health Center in Mt. Vernon. A retired seamstress at Mode O Day Dress Company, Mrs. Bradford was a sister of Edward C. Ehrhart, of Wayne City.

Funeral rites were conducted Wednesday afternoon from the Hughey Funeral Home, with Rev. Rosemary Harris officiating. Burial was in Sursa Cemetery. A visitation was held Tuesday evening at Hughey's.

She was born in Welch, Okla., May 27, 1904, the daughter of Charles Henry and Lillian Bell Good Ehrhart. She was first married to Edwin Fred Milt on Apr. 4, 1922. He died Sept. 7,1944.  Later she was married to William (Bill ) Bradford on May 30, 1951, in Mt. Vernon. He passed away Apr. 10, 1980.

Also preceding her in death were her parents, one daughter, one son, two brothers, four sisters, three step-sons and one step-daughter.

Mrs. Bradford was a member of the Dix United Methodist Church.

Surviving are two sons, Edwin Milt, of Tulsa, Okla.; and Charles Milt, of Mt. Vernon; a daughter, Mrs. John (Frances) Shelton, of Mt. Vernon; 12 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; two step-sons, Lester Bradford and Bill Bradford, Jr., both of Mt. Vernon; a brother, Edward C. Ehrhart, of Wayne City; four sisters, Grace Crouch, of Dix; Gladys Bear, of Decatur; Lidora Duncan, of Big Springs, Tex.; and Mary Belle Smith, of Odessa, Tex.; and a number of nieces and nephews.
