LOA  FINLEY

Loa Finley, 82, a retired Johnsonville farmer, died at 9:30 a.m. Monday at Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Finley had been in poor health suffering from several complications, his family said. He was admitted to the hospital Friday.

Services will be conducted Wednesday at the Bailey Church. A time had not been set at press hour. Friends may call at the Hosselton Funeral Home in Cisne from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.

Mr. Finley was born in Berry Township in Wayne County, Jan. 28, 1897, the son of Charles and Clara Simms Finley. He was married to Nora Shehorn.

Mr. Finley farmed many years in Berry township southwest of Johnsonville, He lived there most of his life.

He was a member of the Arrington Prairie General Baptist church.

Surviving are his widow; two sons, Loren, and Vernon, both of Johnsonville; two daughters, Mrs. James (Luella) Nettleton, of Lebanon; and Mrs. George (Velda) Foster, of Fairfield; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and three sister, Mrs. Floy Brand, of Cook Station, Mo.; Mrs. Willie Blackburn of Fairfield; and Mrs. Millard McNeill, of Fairfield.
