Funeral Thursday
William B "Willie" Fox, 88, well known retired Barnhill township farm operator, died at 3 o'clock Sunday morning  at Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Fox had been in poor health for some time and was moved to the  hospital Saturday when his condition became worse.  He was an uncle of Vernal Simpson here.

AT Robison Home

Recently he had been makinghis home at the Chance Robison residence at North West North where he was being cared for.  Prior to that he lived a number of years at the Fairway nursing home here.

Mr. Fox lived the greater part of his life in Wayne county, having  a farm several  miles south of Fairfield.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at three o' clock at Nales Funeral Home with Rev. Harry L Garrett officiating .  Burial will be at the Maple Hill cemetery.  The body will be at the funeral home until the funeral hour.

Life Sketch

William B., son of William B. and Jane Mitchell Fox, was born at Sharptown, Ind., November 30th, 1867.  His mother died when he was quite young and he was reared for a time by his grandmother Mitchell.  At the age of eight he came to Wayne county to live with his father.  He professed faith in Christ at an early age.

He was  preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, and a brother.

He was married August 19th, 1896; to Elizabeth Simpson.  No children were born to this union.  She precedede him in death on April 8th, 1950.   The only immediate survivor is one sister, Mrs. May Simpson, of Anderson, Ind.; and a number of nephews and nieces.
