Josie Barnard, 73, a resident at Way Fair Restorium, died Wednesday evening at Fairfield Memorial Hospital.

Mrs. Barnard was a former resident of Wayne City and a member of the Wayne City Christian Church.

She was born Nov. 2, 1903, in Wayne county, the daughter of Leander and Mary (Risley) Henderson.  She was married to Vess Barnard. He preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Richardson Funeral Chapel in Wayne City, with Ron Mullins officiating. Burial will be in Bailey Cemetery.  Friends may call at the funeral chapel today after 6 p.m.

Mrs. Barnard is survived by one brother, George Henderson, of Sims.
