Martha May Trotter, daughter of William R and Martha J. Trotter was born in Hamilton County, Aug. 26, 1892; died at her home near Delafield February 21, 1920; aged 28 years 6 months and 21 days.

She was married to C. E. Standerfer, April 26, 1911.  To this union were born three children.  She accepted faith to Christ in 1908 and united with the Missionary Baptist church of Belle Prairie, living a consistent Christian life and a faithful mother and wife until her death.

She expressed her willingness to go to that better world, by singing and asking those around her bed to meet her in heaven.

She leaves to mourn her departure a husband, one son and two daughters, mother, father, five brothers, four sisters and a host of other relatives and friends.

Short funeral services were conducted at the home February 22, by the Rev. John Maulding.  Interment at the Crouch cemetery.
