Ual (Pete) Anderson Dies; Had Bakery Business Here

Ual G. (Pete) Anderson, 73, of 800 Walker Street, died at 1:27 p.m. Wednesday, Apr. 24, 1996, at the Fairfield Memorial Hospital emergency room, of a heart attack.

Mr. Anderson for a number of years operated a bakery at West Main and Seventh and also had been a machinist at Airtex. He later worked in maintenance at Fairfield Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday from the Johnson Funeral Home, with Bro. Kenneth Holland officiating.  Interment will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.  Visitation will be held at the Johnson Chapel from 6 to 8 Friday evening.

He was born in Wayne County Oct. 24, 1922, the son of Saml and Rena Haynes Anderson.  Mr. Anderson was married to Elloise Allison Aug. 3, 1946. She preceded him in death Sept. 7, 1994

He was a World War ll veteran.

Surviving are one son, Val Anderson, of Geff; two daughters, Diane Anderson, of New Jersey; and Mrs. Sam (Donna) Coplea, of Newburgh, Ind.; two brothers, Jack Anderson, of Mt. Vernon; and Aubron Anderson, of Keenes; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
