SKETCH OF MRS. CURRY
(Nona Jane Scott Curry)

Nona Jane, daughter of Oscar and Amanda Scott , was born June 7th, 1889, near Fairfield. She spent her entire \life in Wayne county, passing away at her home near Geff march 23rd at the age of 57 years, 9 months and 16 days.

She was united in marriage with Flavius S. Curry September 11th, 1910. To this union were born four children, two daughters, Mrs. Gladys Shackelford, of Clay City, and Mrs. Helen Nettleton, of Fairfield, and two sons, John and Raymond, of Geff.

Early in life she confessed her faith in Christ and united with the Woodland Methodist church, later moving her membership to the Methodist church of Geff. She lived a true Christian life, always attending the services of her church as long as health permitted.

She leaves her faithful companion, four children, two daughters-in-law, two sons-in-law, three granddaughters, one sister, Mrs. Rose Beard, of Fairfield; four brothers, Charles and Harry, of California; Nicholas and James of northern Illinois.

She was preceded in death by her father, mother, and one brother, Perry.
