Brother Of Cisne Woman Dies; Plan Steeleville Rites

Fred L. Bible, 59, of Steeleville, died at 4:38 a.m. Monday, Apr. 22, 1996, at the Chester Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Bible was a brother of Beverly Laughlin, of Cisne.   He was a dispatcher for Gilster Mary-Lee Corp., at Steeleville.

Funeral rites will be at 1 p.m. Friday from the Wilson Funeral Home in Steeleville, with Rev. Ed Frost officiating. Interment will be in Paradise Cemetery at Steeleville. Visitation will be after 5 p.m. Thursday and on Friday from 7:30 a.m. to the time of service at Wilson Funeral Home.

He was born at Louisville Sept. 15, 1936, the son of Deon and Lucy Alice VanHouton Bible.  In 1956 he was married to Nancy L. Richardson.  Mr. Bible was a member of the Hoosier Baptist Church at Louisville the Moose Club, Gun Club and Boat Club at Chester.  Preceding him in death were his father, one infant daughter and one infant grandson.

Surviving are his wife; three daughters, Judy Lynn Misselhorn, of Campbell Hill; Julia Ann Durbin, of Redmond, Ore.; and Janet Kay Fox, of Mountain Home, Ark.; his mother, Lucy A. Bible, of Flora; two brothers, Leo and Donald Bible, both of Louisville; one sister, Beverly Laughlin, of Cisne; and ten grandchildren.
