Eugene (Ben) Hunt, 75, Dies In Tennessee; Rites Are Held

Eugene (Ben) Hunt, 75, of rural Camden, Tenn., died at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Apr. 6, 1996, at Henry County Hospital in Paris, Tenn.

A native of Wayne City, Mr. Hunt was a farmer and Angus cattle breeder.  He had been in failing health.

Graveside funeral rites were conducted Monday afternoon (today), at Olive Branch Cemetery south of Wayne City, with Rev. Richard McCormick officiating. There was no visitation. The Richardson Funeral Home at Wayne City was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Hunt was born at Wayne City Jan. 24, 1921, the son of Silvanis Aaron and Cena Miller Hunt.      He was married to Rose Mary Bee.

Mr. Hunt was a World War II veteran, a member of the Olive Branch Church near Wayne City, the Mid-Tennessee Angus Association, the West Tennessee Angus Association, American Angus association and formerly the Wabash Valley Angus Association.

Preceding him in death were his parents, two brothers and one sister.

Surviving are his wife; one son, Terry Dawson, of Camden, Tenn.; two grandsons; and three sisters, Ethel Gurley, of Wayne City, Mary Mezo, of Amboy, Ill.; and Floy Musser, of Kings.
