Retired Wayne City Laborer Dies

Clarence E. Bosworth, 58, a retired Wayne City laborer, died at 10:15 p.m. Thursday, Mar. 3, 1983, at the Good Samaritan Hospital at Mt. Vernon.   He had been a hospital patient for the past month, the family said.

Funeral services were conducted at 1:30 p.m. Monday (today) at the Paradise Christian Church, of Wayne City, with Rev. Stanley Matthews and Rev. Everett Bullock officiating.  Burial was in the Griffith Cemetery at Brownstown.  Funeral arrangements were handled by the Richardson Funeral Home, of Wayne City.

Mr. Bosworth was born in Arkansas Mar. 25, 1924, the son of Paul and Margery (Houck) Bosworth.   He was married to the former Stella Louise Farlow June 12, 1960.

Mr.  Bosworth was a member of the Paradise Christian Church, of Wayne City.

Survivors include his wife, Stella Bosworth, of Wayne City; his mother, Mrs. Margery Bosworth, of Vandalia; one son, John Bosworth, at home; one step- daughter, Mrs. Steve (Ericka) Rosenberger, of Decatur; one sister, Mrs. Dale (Ernestine) Haynes, of Vandalia, and one brother Robert Bosworth, of Stillwater, Okla.
