Rural Xenia Man Dies In Hospital

Claud Everett Colclasure, 73, of Rt. 1, Xenia, a retired B & O Railroad trackman, died at 1:45 p.m. Sunday, Apr. 24, 1983, at the Fairfield Memorial Hospital.   Mr. Colclasure had entered the hospital the day prior to his death.  He is the foster father of Mrs. James A. (Nancy) Baker, of Cisne.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Hosselton-Bookhout-Engelmeier Funeral Home, of Flora.  Burial will be in the Odd Fellows Cemetery at Xenia.    Visitation will be held at the funeral home in Flora from 6-9 p.m. Tuesday.

Mr. Colclasure was born in Xenia Oct. 2, l909, the son of James W. andMollie (Henson) Colclasure.     He was married to the former Lucille Young in Salem Mar. 10, 1928.     Mr.  Colclasure was a member of the Flora Eagles and Elks.

Survivors include his wife Lucille Colclasure, of Xenia; two foster daughters, Mrs. James A. (Nancy) Baker, of Cisne, and Mrs. Charles (Sue) Spitzner, of Xenia; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one brother.
