Gary Brenn, 27, who came to Wayne county in mid-December as a soil conservationist for the U.S. Soil Conservation Service, died over the week end in North Carolina.     He had cancer.   Mr. Brenn. who worked with Dwight Esarey, the SCS conservationist here, had not worked for the past two weeks.  He had entered a Peoria Hospital, and then was moved to North Carolina, where his parents reside.  The body is at the Foran Funeral Home at Summit, Ill., near Chicago, with funeral services to be conducted Wednesday.

Mr. Brenn is survived by his parents and three sisters.
