Mrs. Minnie J. Reever, 92, formerly of Springerton, a resident at Way-Fair Restorium, died at 8:50 a.m. Sunday, Apr. 17, 1983, at Way-Fair.  Mrs. Reever lived at Way-Fair for the past two years. Death was due to the infirmities of age

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Johnson Funeral Home, with Bro. Carroll Kakac officiating.  Burial will be in the Springerton Cemetery, at Springerton.  Visitation for family and friends will be held from 6-9 Monday (tonight) at the funeral home.

Mrs. Reever was born in White County May 16, 1890, the daughter of Anderson C. and Sarah (Nelson) Duckworth.  She was married to Robert V. Reever, who preceded her in death in 1957. The Reevers had celebrated 48 years of marriage.  Mr. and Mrs. Reever were a farming family. Mrs. Reever lived on the farm following her husband's death. She lived with her children for several years after she suffered a stroke.

Mrs. Reever was a member of the Springerton Christian Church.

She is survived by three sons, Dwight and Wayne Reever, both of Fairfield; and Donald Reever, of Granite City; one daughter, Mrs. Ruth Young, of Manteno; 10 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
