Sister Of Gladys Pope Dies At Mount Carmel Hospital

Mrs. Mabel Williams, 72, of Browns, died at 5:56 a.m. Monday Morning (today), Oct. 24, 1994, at Wabash General Hospital in Mt. Carmel.  She was a sister of Mrs. Gladys Pope, of Fairfield.  Mrs. Williams had been in failing health.  Mrs. Williams was a homemaker.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday from Ingram's Funeral Home in Albion, with burial at New Enterprise Cemetery north of Browns. Visitation will be conducted from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Ingram's in
Albion.

She was born at Mt. Carmel Nov. 3, 1921, the daughter of Charles and Mildred Anderson Deisher.  On Nov. 13, 1945, she was married to Charles Williams.  Her parents, one son and one brother preceded her in death.

Surviving are her husband; one son, Arthur Williams, of Grove City, Ohio; one daughter, Juanita Hall, of Browns; four brothers, Pete Deisher, Sherman Deisher, David Deisher and Harold Deisher, of Mt. Carmel; four sisters, Gladys Pope, of Fairfield; Ruby Allen, Terre Haute, Ind.; Irene Rogers, of Evansville, Ind.; and Opal Smith, of Mt. Carmel; five grandchildren; two step- grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
